Ditzy
and naturally blonde, Jillette 'the best a man can get' is the host of
The Manly Sisters Drag Show and is always a crowd favourite.
Jill loves to talk (and talk) and manages to put comedy into
even the most banal song.
Jillette gained prominence when she won the ‘Best Up and Coming’
award at the prestigious Miss Melbourne Drag competition in
2004, where a shy and timid Jillette wowed the
judges and audience alike.
Since then, Jill has been a
regular fixture of the Melbourne Drag Scene, working at many
of Melbourne most exciting Drag venues. As well as The
Manly Sisters Drag Show, Jill has worked
with The Newbags, The Showbags, The Jack & Jill Show and
was a founding member of Drags Aloud.
Jillette was also apart of the Chanel 31
Television variety program "Drags Aloud". In 2007,
Jillette was apart of one of Melbourne's most successful drag show... "The Sound of Music
Drag Show" which ran for 7 months at The Newmarket Hotel in
St Kilda. The show was so popular, the show went on to both the
Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe
Festival in Scotland where sell out audiences couldn't get enough. Jill has also performed at various
locations around Victoria, including; Federation Square,
Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Daylesford's Palais Hotel,
Shepparton and in
the central Victorian town of Warracknabeal. When
asked for her favourite show, Jill says its a close tie
between The Sound of Music Drag Show (2007) and The Movie Musicals Drag
Show' (which she wrote and produced with Jackie Stevens in
2008).
